PSYCHIATRIC MENTAL HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER - MEDICATION MANAGEMENT

Tavissa Granger is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who brings both strong clinical training and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to her work. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Mount St. Joseph University in 2015 and went on to complete her Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner through University of Cincinnati in 2024, further specializing her expertise in mental health care across the lifespan.

Tavissa utilizes an evidence-based approach to assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, personality disorders, and sleep disturbances. She provides thoughtful medication management while always considering the full picture; recognizing that mental health is influenced by biological, emotional, and environmental factors.

She believes that meaningful progress starts with feeling seen, heard, and respected. Tavissa works collaboratively with each client to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their goals, values, and lifestyle. Her approach is supportive, educational, and empowering, helping clients feel confident and actively involved in their mental health and wellness journey.

Tavissa works with individuals ages 8 and up and values a team-based approach to care. She often collaborates with therapists, primary care providers, and other professionals to ensure clients receive comprehensive, well-rounded support.

She is licensed in both Kentucky and Ohio. In Kentucky, Tavissa practices under a collaborative agreement with a licensed physician, which allows her to prescribe medications in accordance with state regulations.
