Grace Williams, Pending LPCA Licensure

THERAPY

Grace is a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate (LPCA) at Very Unique Wellness. Before earning her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, she worked in pediatric behavioral health. Her experience in this area of mental health served as the catalyst for her passion for creating a safe, welcoming environment where individuals feel comfortable expressing their thoughts, emotions, and concerns without judgment.

Grace has a special interest in working with individuals ages 8 and older who are experiencing obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), agoraphobia, specific phobias, panic disorder, Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs), and anxiety. She has received specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard, evidence-based treatment for OCD and many anxiety-related disorders. Outside of these specialty areas, Grace also enjoys supporting individuals navigating depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, cultural and racial identity exploration, and intimacy-related challenges.

Grace provides care through a Person-Centered foundation, meeting clients where they are and collaborating to create a treatment plan tailored to their unique needs and goals. She utilizes a variety of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Depending on each client's needs, Grace thoughtfully integrates these approaches to provide individualized, effective care.

Grace is committed to cultivating a nonjudgmental space where struggles and fears are met with compassion, curiosity, and understanding. Her goal is to help you (or your child) better understand what lies beneath the worry, build greater tolerance for uncertainty and discomfort, develop practical skills for lasting relief, and begin to feel more confident and in control of daily life.

Healing doesn't happen overnight, but with patience, conversation, compassionate care, and evidence-based therapeutic tools, meaningful change is possible. Grace would be honored to walk alongside you on your wellness journey and support you every step of the way.

Grace receives clinical supervision from Vorā O. Blake, LPCC-S, C-DBT, C-PD, ensuring ethical, evidence-based, and high-quality care.
