Ambrya Parton is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate at Very Unique Wellness. She graduated in 2025 from the University of the Cumberlands with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and brings over six years of experience working in the mental health field.

Ambrya works with individuals ages 16 and up, as well as couples and families, and has a strong clinical focus on alcohol and substance use disorders. She also has a natural affinity for mother’s navigating parenthood postpartum. Her clinical experience includes working with clients navigating substance use concerns, mood disorders, parenting issues, personality-related challenges, and relationship stressors.

Ambrya integrates Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into her work. She is Gottman Method Couples Therapy – Level 1 trained, allowing her to support couples in strengthening communication, increasing emotional connection, and managing conflict more effectively. She takes a collaborative, strengths-based approach and believes meaningful change happens when clients feel safe, supported, and understood.

Ambrya is committed to creating a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore challenges at their own pace while working toward lasting growth and stability. She meets clients where they are and tailors treatment to each client’s unique needs, goals, and strengths.

Ambrya receives clinical supervision from Vorā O. Blake, LPCC-S, C-DBT, C-PD, ensuring ethical, evidence-based, and high-quality care.
